Living Water Day Retreat

God provided us with beautiful weather even though the forecast called for showers...The gals were early and we were all ready to see what God had in store for us on this special spring day....

We were not disappointed.....God met each of us in a unique way as we pondered His word and sought His direction.

Retreats Soon to Start at Potter's House

Next Saturday, March 17, will be the first day retreat of this year 2012...Sandra and I are very excited and we can't wait to see God's hand in this retreat.  He has been faithful to lead and guide each retreat we have had and I know He will do the same again next Saturday....

2012 Potter's House Retreats

Pat, Sandra and I are very excited about the retreats coming up for 2012.  Soon the snow and cold weather will be a thing of the past and spring will be here and time to take a break with the Father.. We feel God is giving us many ideas for the retreats and we look forward to seeing His hand in the lives of each participant.

Last Day Retreat of 2011

Last Saturday, November 12, we had our last Living Water Day Retreat for this year.  The weather was perfect, cool with a breeze and clear blue skies....It was cool enough that we made a fire in the fire pit and that kept us toasty while we were outside...

A wonderful group of ladies attended and Sandra and I were delighted to spend time with each one of them.  We all received insights from God as we sat at various places on the property as well as when we did collages in the Art Shed.  God is always faithful in giving each one just the right message for the issues that are being dealt with at the time...

First Living Water Day Retreat

Sandra and I had our first Living Water Day Retreat yesterday.  It was a mountain day that was customed designed by God; beautiful blue skies with a cool breeze.

We had four wonderful ladies who were a pleasure to be with and they all came seeking an encounter with the Lord.  We studied the Word, spent time alone with the Father, created insightful collages, laughed and cried.

And of course it wouldn't be complete without Sandra and me getting into a laughing jag

We are very thankful that the Lord was present and guided and directed the events of the day.  As He often does, He made changes throughout the day to accomplish His will and I was blessed beyond measure at watching Him work in the life of each woman present including my own...

New Day Retreats

I am so excited that we have added a day retreat, Living Water Day Retreats here at the Potter's House....So often women have said to us "we can't come for a weekend but would love a day retreat" so we prayed about it and the first one will be August 20.

Busy Spring at the Potter's House

Sandra Kearns had her ministry (On Wings Like a Dove) retreat at the Potter's House in May.  All the women who attended were such a blessing.

Our Chef, Sheila, served her wonderful and delicious food and I think we all gained weight...I did a journaling workshop and all the women were awesome participants. Sandra taught sessions from the Bible that were encouraging, inspiring and challenging all at the same time.  And we had lots of time to mediate on God's Word as we chose a location near the stream that was suited for each person.

It was an inspiring weekend and I was so blessed to have been a part of the group.....
