Weekend Retreat

Today, Pat and I completed our second Footprints to the Potter's House Retreat and God was faithful to His word to show up where two or more are gathered and exceeded all of our expectations for the weekend.

We experienced the Listening Prayer and were rewarded by instructions from the Father. We delved into old and new heart issues and found a different form of communication through art journaling.  We hiked up the mountain and viewed God's glorious hand of creation.  We sat around the fire pit and some sang songs of praise.  We gathered around the table and ate wonderful food while being
encouraged with sweet fellowship of sisterhood.  And after being given a blessing, each one left the mountain to return home with a new heart, a new passion for Christ, and a new commitment to LISTEN...........

Each one of us received a blessing from the hand of the Father and we are humbled by the fact that He cares so much for each of His gals that He would spend a weekend giving each one of us exactly what we needed.....Thank you Father....

Hugs and blessings,

  1. So glad, rest up. I know you gals give so much at these wonderful retreats!!

  2. Oh Nancy, what a dream come true for you to be able to host and teach and pray and learn with those who need a time out in life. Truly, I am sitting here with tears in my eyes as I think about what a special lady with a special heart you are!! Pat must be too. I am so grateful that God has put you in my path.

  3. Oh what a wonderful place! Sounds like a heavenly time. We have a mountain house in Independence, Va.

  4. What a blast we had with you and the Lord. He spoke volumes to me. Going to my blog right now to share how He showed up. I love you and Him so very much. Thanks for the great opportunity. If anyone wants to go to share the experience please do so. You will be renewed and invigorated to serve Him out of a new HEART! I can't say enough about how God is working through you and Pat. An awesome team!

  5. Yes Nancy this sounds like something I'd love to attend. I need to spend time with women who love Our Lord, and want to serve Him with all their hearts and soul.

  6. What a beautiful setting to listen to the Father!

You are so far away from me (MN) but yet your pictures show things I too have around me here. Taking time to pray together and seek His will for our lives is so needed in todays busy, sometimes crazy world.

May God continue to bless your ministry--your times together on these retreats and fulfill your efforts in seeking Him in creative ways.
